It’s a small buffet with a lot of selections and the food hits the spot! Everything is well seasoned and delicious! There isn’t anything that I don’t like, they are always rotating their food and cleaning up any mess. I usually eat there and the servers are ON IT! When drinks are low and your plate is empty they get to it so fast! I did take out this time and for the amount of food I grabbed it was good pricing!! I love this spot and highly recommend it. It’s homey and cozy.

The 98 Pounds Buffet is the best value around. It offers a huge variety of Chinese dishes, all you can eat, for 15 to 20 per person, depending on when you're coming in. There's an abundance of prawns and of various chicken dishes; the mussels and squid are excellent. I'm especially fond of the crispy string beans. The custard-filled flaky biscuits are irresistible. Plus, there's fresh sushi. It's all there -- entrees, soups, fruit, cookies, and puddings. The attentive staff keeps it neat and clean and is quick to take away used dishes. I feel lucky that I live nearby; there's nothing else like it.

This is probably one of the best buffets I've been to in recent memory. Almost all the food was fresh, there was a good assortment of sushi's, fruits, and meats (and more!) Probably one of the first buffets I've seen have cherries, which was awesome. Our server was probably the hardest working person I've seen at these type of buffets, saw her refilling drinks, clearing plates, sweeping, refilling the clean plates, all while seeing almost no one else doing the same, highly recommend!

Let me tell ya, this place came up on google, I am from out of town so I went based off pics and a few reviews and the fact they have sushi on the buffet. Top 3 best Chinese buffets I have ever been to. The service was amazing, my drink was never empty. Chinese food was awesome and the sushi was awesome. Great job guys!

Great food and great friendly service. The food was hot & tasted good. The facility was clean, & the restrooms were clean. There is plenty of free parking available in a large parking lot. We will be there again for sure. -Troy Stewart of Twin cities Minnesota

Me and my mother were very impressed by the quality of the food. The sushi was very fresh, and the food was nice and hot. The service was extraordinary with our waiter always standing by to clean our plates, or refill our drinks. The buffet was very clean, and there were people who were consistently wiping down and cleaning the food area. We’re definitely coming back.

This place is what you'd expect from a China buffet, but it has more seafood (shrimp, clams, crawdads, whole fish, imitation crab bake, calamari, cockles etc) and less dumplings/pot stickers. It seems almost overpriced, except the quality is better than most. You could come here and just eat the chicken wings, they are gigantic and perfectly cooked. The green beans are on par. They don't dye the chicken skewers red like most places -a plus in my book. They also have lime and lemon slices available which really boost the quality of any plate -wish they all did this. The sushi is honestly ok, but I wouldn't come here for just sushi, you might be left wanting the fancy rolls you'd find elsewhere. The staff are really nice and the vibe is decent. The place is nice and busy on the weekends, just the way you want a buffet. Only ding comes from the off-putting smell that hits you as you walk in. Not sure what deal is with that, but fix it and they get a near perfect score.

This is my favorite seafood spot! They have other food, from: sushi, pizza, rice, fish, you name it. Variety of yummy desserts, etc. My family and I has been coming here for the last 3years, and I’m always excited to visit this place whenever I have the chance. It’s tasty, all you can eat but I’m sure this does not apply to the sushi as I just found that out. Must visit if you’re in the Bloomington area and looking for somewhere to eat.
